Well it was long for me. Not long graduated c25k and last week set about the bridge to 10. 3k Monday so off to a flying start. Then somehow on Wednesday I managed to change the settings on my app from outdoor to indoor run and I posted a 4.25k run with an average time of 4:20 per k. As i normally fun around the 6 minute mark I knew something was wrong.
I think I ran slightly further than day one around 3.5k in reality, which scuppered my plans.
The weekend got in the way of funning this week so today was first time since the unexpected short run. But managed a nice respectable 5.5k
So my question at the end of all this, do you all run short run medium and long in that order? Or do you mix it up by throwing in an extra long run or perhaps king the week iff with the long run etc?

I mixed my runs up - did ju ju plan in October/November In the north of Scotland. If it was cold and miserable i did the short run, nice - long run. I completed each run of the week before moving to next week. Dont throw in extra long runs and risk injury. You will very soon be a graduate and able to run whatever distance you want on each day. By april I was running mostly 9/10/11k on each run clocking up 146k for the month. Happy running 🤗
I’m currently on week 5 of Ju Ju’s plan. I start with the 5k, do the long run in the middle and finish with the short one either as a recovery run or a faster pace tempo run depending on how I’m feeling. I injured myself in the first week doing the magic plan after three weeks of consolidation after C25K hurtling down some hills and had to take 10days off. This time I’m taking it nice and slowly. You can do the runs in any order so just choose what works for you. Happy running 🏃♀️
I do/did the long run first in the week and then I can relax. Total rubbish really as it’s still one long and two short runs no matter which way you look at it but it works for me 😂
