The NHS recommend 150 minutes of heart rate raising exercise a week. Last week Little Miss UNM did 150 a day for the first 3 days and got to 850 something for the week... which got me thinking... how would 150 a day for a week feel? I’m close enough to know that it felt awesome... but now I’m sat here thinking “if only I’d hit the vigorous zone and scored a few double minutes”. 46 minutes left and I’m not sure I fancy a brisk walk more than a glass of cider 🤣

It’s a thought 🤣. I’m also thinking that it’s going down next week regardless. Did C25K W6R2 with my daughter today and ran on to 3k to get a badge on Strava... I’m now regretting not doing a separate 3k.
Well....some of us know that you’ve just set a target and I really don’t wonder for a single second if you’ll be doing it. 🤣🤣!!
Good on Little Miss UNM too!! 😁 It’s so great to hear about you both doing it together. These are the kinds of things that create priceless memories. ❤️
She’s really into this exercise malarkey this time round, and it’s more than running too. She’s actually asking me when we are running, it’s a big change. I think it will stick this time.
I picked a fair few of those minutes up doing other stuff too! 1050 minutes of running... that’s gonna take some building up to... it’s a great idea though!!
I’m pretty sure my daughter agrees there, she hates maths 🤣
Numbers sure can spoil a run. Being 10 short wasn’t so bad and if I’d really needed to I had time to get it... missing by 1 would suck as Garmin only award minutes once there’s 10 or more consecutive ones.
Just looked back through garmin - wk beg 16/3 - 1430mins, 11/5 - 1137mins, 25/5 - 1242 mins, 1/6 - 1396 mins, 8/6 - 1105mins, 15/6 - 1523 mins . I haven't been sleeping well in June - possibly because I'm doing too much, already 398 mins this week and it's only day 2. Must learn to sit and count daisies.
That’s truly awesome!!! New watch coming here this week which is probably gonna tell me to take more rest... but I think I can turn those features off when the irritate me.
