I'm new to this community - I completed C25K last week, VERY slowly. On my first consolidation run I ran for 5k basically by mistake (but that's another story.) It took me 44 minutes. What does everyone think I should do next? I've been reading the other posts and it seems to vary from person to person. What do most people do? (I can't wait for Parkrun to open, just to prove to my grown up sons that I can do it!)
After C25K?: I'm new to this community - I... - Bridge to 10K
After C25K?

Congratulations on graduating c25k. You are still very new to running so to prevent injury do some consolidation at 30 minutes. You could choose some new routes or reverse a route to give a bit of variety. Slowly build up your time/distance by adding no more than 10% per week. Keep posting. Happy running 🤗
Well done on graduating!
I graduated 5 weeks ago and for the first two weeks I sticked to the 30mins three times a week but tried some different routes. For the last three weeks I have run 1x 20mins, 1x 30mins and 1x 5k (which takes me about 38mins) I have seen a little improvement in how quickly I get into a good pace but the big notice for me is I recover much quicker when I slow down.
I have started adding my 5k times to the (non)park run so I have something to see progress each week.
Best of luck!

I bridged to 10k straight away. That would also improve your 5k pace.
