Tonight was Week5 , Run 3; 8km run.

Out at 6pm.. in the heat. Not going to lie.. wow tough one !

So as i slowed down to accommodate the heat.. my legs near 7km felt ever heavier.

As i move onto Week 6.. have you all got any hints and tips ..based on your experiences..

Well done on running 8K run 3 week 5 of Ju Ju's Magic 10 in the heat, you ran it as it should be run, slow and steady, during warm weather drink plenty of water to keep hydrated, if possible try and do your running early in the morning, a lot cooler then, especially this week with the maximum temperature to be about 30C in many places in England.

Thankyou..

I'm more of an evening runner.. although to be fair i had intended on Saturday being out at 7am,unfortunately i slept in.

I've only ever done 3 or 4 morning runs in time I've been out running too.

I'm realizing that I'm going to have to have water with me.. how do you carry water with you.. i can't bear anything in my hand.. I've a flipbelt.. so maybe carry water in that ?

That flip belt is the best place to carry water.

Ahh thanks.. it's so good to get support from fellow folk on here 🙂.

Keep on going.. its all fun.. enjoy your weeks too.

I've decided to do intervals for the 3k /4k runs.. using AUDIOFUEL PODCASTS pyramids.. love the bpm runs and the coaching too.

Hi Lucy, why kill yourself going for 10k straight off.

I decided to do the time first and achieved 8k in my 60 min run. (Wk8 run3). I'll consolidate for a while then go for the 10k, probably in 75 mins.

I wont carry anything as it could upset the balance and mechanics of the body.

Beware of the heat and stay injury free.
