After great runs and beating PRs in the past few weeks, this morning was a tough run, took me ages to get going the air heavy with humidity and huge puddles to either navigate or run through along the canal after the incredible storms yesterday afternoon and late evening. There were many hazards along the tow path with walkers ambling along, dogs trying to topple me over and branches covering the canal path, it was a run of strength and endurance. Not my best 7k but ultimately not too bad in the end with only 50 seconds over my PR that was a nice surprise. I ran to cardio classics and I definitely had a cardio challenge this morning.
As I sit here and write this all the effort of this morning is fading away and I’m looking forward to my 11k run on Friday morning as I gently keep building the distance up. 🏃🏻♀️

Well done! Yes, I ran this morning and it was very humid and at one stage I thought almost tropical weather. My little face was crimson when I’d finished 🥵
I think we’re going to have a few days of this but hopefully Friday won’t be quite so sticky. Enjoy your run 🏃♀️🙂
Fantastic effort, so humid out there. I had part of my run through fields and forgot that of course after last nights rain the ground would be wet, muddy, and the long grass soaking my legs. What has running done to us all that we call these obstacle runs enjoyable 🤣 happy running 🤗
