Calling Coach Bennett fans...

Today I completed w3 of Magic 10 (timed version)... but Coach Bennett wouldn’t speak to me!! 😳

It was my first try using the Nike run club app & I selected a 30 minute run which promised me 15 comments. Technology is not my greatest skill – any ideas which buttons I have failed to press? 😂

I enjoyed my run in light rain anyway...😄

Hi I'm a fan of coach Bennet. I've never had an issue. I don't use data when I run so I generally download the run beforehand. Is it possible NRC is conflicting with another app you're using?? Which run did you use?? Just a thought??

It was the 30 min head start. In the overview it says something about coach Bennett giving 15 thoughts to run with - I may have misinterpreted what that meant – I was hoping for some sort of thought every two minutes. All I got was an average speed for each km from the tracker.

I had on was NRC and my on-phone music so there shouldn’t be a conflict there.

I will try downloading it next time. - I think I probably just need to spend more time looking at the site – I was in a bit of a hurry before my run.

I haven't done that one. I did do.the 5k headstart which was lots of thoughts and then quiet for you to run. I would have Assumed they had a similar format. Good luck with the next run🏃

I love NRC. It's not happened to me but keep going! I'd go without the music and listen in. Good luck!

Big fan of Coach Bennett. I usually download my runs beforehand, but I haven't tried that one. Well worth persevering. 👍

Thanks for replying. I’m pleased to say CB spoke to me today! 😂 I have no idea whether I did anything differently, but I downloaded it and it worked. 😄

Interesting you say that, I have been using the NRC app for about 9months now running with Coach Bennett and last night, the app still timed me but Coach Bennett didn't speak to me at all! First time that has ever happened. I might take off the app and then put in again to see if that helps.☹️🏃‍♀️

😂😂No worries - it often happens - It just goes to show that posts retain their relevance over time. 😄 Your idea of taking off and reloading the app is a good one-I should’ve thought of that myself, having done so with another couple of apps. I have also experienced an unexpected and mysterious change of coach too!!
