My first 5k

I managed the 5k today. It did take 44min , I admit. But I tell myself that this includes opening and closing farm gates. two wobbly stiles and hearing the cuckoo. I feel less tired after running than when I began c5k, so I think I must be doing something right. For the first time, I ran without headphones , I think I prefer the birdsong. The app on my phone tells me when I have run a km . Although a talking bra can be quite alarming at times, I can get used to it.

Lol at the talking bra, that could get you some looks from passers by!😂 44 minutes is perfectly respectable for a first 5k, it's the distance not the time that's important for now.

Very well done on your first 5K. Yes it’s nice sometimes to run without earphones and just take in all the nature around us. The Cuckoo must have had an awful shock with the talking bra. 😀

Excellent! Well-done, Gwyrdd. Also love the “talking bra”. Just nature can be lovely. We’re still using the podcast to keep us on track, but we’re only on wk 7 (and not close to 5K yet).
