Does it count...

...as fartleks if you run 0.7km to deliver a light bulb, stop and chat for half an hour, run to the allotment and water the plants for half an hour, then run part way home, remember you wanted to try a new footpath and you’re going the wrong way, turn round and run back up the hill you’ve just run down, and run home?

5km done. First in a while 😀

Well you covered 5K, does someone running, say a half marathon and stopping at a cafe, having a cake and coffee then continuing to run to the finishing line count as 'running' a HM, hmmm. 😊

Of course it counts Baddie. You can do anything you like- you are a runner!

I hope your allotment is surviving the hot weather. 🌺🌸🌼🌻

Allotment is doing pretty well. I've hung up my old walking boots, filled them with soul and planted nasturtiums in them 😊

I rather like the idea of filling them with soul before planting..

It'll be your new walking boots that are still full of soul, then :-)

I like your style. I managed my first ever 10k recently by running 5k to my son's house, going in for an hour for tea and flapjacks then running the other 5k home. So why not !! Its still 10k in the legs. 🦵🦶
