Well guys , Im back out running on the street after literally 8 weeks confined to the house and (modest) garden .Running on the spot twice a week for 30 minutes kept me sane !! So utterly strange ,physically and mentally ,to be running free again ! I managed a modest 34:30 for my first 5K on Monday not wanting to risk injury .Boy did my legs ache yesterday ! Went out again today, still sore ,but it just had to be done, the show must go on .People dodging with 'social distancing' came instinctively thank goodness as I was so in the groove again concentrating on my running !! Back to three times a week now, early mornings, as I hate running in anything approaching hot weather ! Also changed my route so as to incorporate wider pavements and make the 2.5 metre rule easier to adhere to !

Fantastic that you e got back out. Sounds like you have the routes and social distancing totally sorted. I find myself doing all sorts of calculations as I run considering width of tracks, when to cross road etc. Keeps the brain active and fun. Happy running 🤗

Ahh fantastic F4L, I can’t even imagine what you’ve had to endure, so kudos for getting out and not looking back. Running on the spot for 30 minutes? Wow - but you did it, and it enabled you to keep enough fitness to run a lovely 5k! 👍
