Really beginning to get into a stride even though I am still a slow coach to many but really pleased with my 7K in 54 mins. Conditions good and trying to build up the distance after plenty of 5K work. I didn't think 10K was in sight but now I am beginning to see it on the horizon - I give it 2 months ...

Congratulations on running and reaching 7k and you're right 10k isn't that far off now😊😊🏃♂️🏃♂️
Massive congratulations on your 7km. I am even slower than you having taken 65 minutes for my one and only 7km run. As people keep saying on the group, slow and steady is the way. How long ago did you graduate C25K? I finished mine in December.
Happy running 🏃♂️.
Hi - This is my second time around and I completed it in Dec '19, feels like a while ago and since then just aimed to run 3 times a week. This has been brilliant and over lock down just kept working a bit harder to push my speed on to averaging 7:30 mins/Km. Sunday is good for a long one and on the other days I try to vary it with some hill work and a good 5K. Second time around, I don't moan- just glad to be alive and getting fitter at 53!
You will get there again and doing it steadily will make sure of this. Stamina beats pace so just keep plugging away. Well done.
Well done you, slow and steady is definitely a great way to progress.
Great time for your 7k, dont underestimate yourself. Keep it steady and you will indeed reach 10k. Before that you can claim your 60min badge - only 6mins to add. Happy running 🤗
7k. Fantastic. Just sounds lovely!
