I hadn’t planned to post this morning as tbh there wasn’t much to write about, other than I thought I’d take a leaf out of Rigpig’s book and see what a straight 30 minute run would bring. But it was such a gorgeous morning and, echoing Dexy5’s thoughts yesterday, on the basis that you can never get too much sea air, I thought you might like to pause a moment and look out over the Solent and breathe it in! If you zoom in you’ll see one of the Palmerston forts and the Isle of Wight in the background. Enjoy!

I didn’t really get very far - only 3.1 k which is par for the course; avg pace of 9.30 per km which is a bit better than my recent OGR speed! But it gives me something to work on! And after I’d done that I trotted was another km back to the lane by the cricket pitch. A late start as well -!i didn’t get out until 7!

Yes 9:30 min/km is faster than you were doing at parkrun. 7:00? Too early for me...

After such a wet and miserable winter, I can’t believe that almost every day now starts with brilliant blue skies, made all the more vivid by the lack of vapour trails. Add the sea and it’s gorgeous!
