I was on the final uphill of my 30 min consolidation run. The lane is a little narrow but easily enough space for a car and a runner. A driver approached me from behind getting slower and slower. I waved him past but he stuck there. So I pulled over a bit more, hit a patch of loose gravel and fell over like a bag of spuds.
It turned out to be a friend who wanted to wave me Good Morning!
It was difficult to be angry, but I’ve had to clean a nasty graze on my knee and apply alcohol antiseptic. Yikes!

Ouch poor you, friends are well meaning. Yesterday as I headed out I compared routes with hubby, we were definitely not going to meet. I'm 3 ½ km in, minding own business on single tracks routes when jumped out of skin as someone behind started shouted - just hubby saying he'd changed route, how was I doing 🤣🤣🤣 happy running 🤗
