Niggling knee ...

Hello wise runners I hope you are all ok? I had to have 3 months off as I hurt my knee whilst running 😡 the past 3 weeks I have been getting back on the treadmill ( and I can see I have lost fitness ). My knee feels a bit ‘niggly’ can any of you recommend any exercise or hacks to help it pls? I really don’t want to be out of action again as ( I can’t believe I’m about to say this ) I have missed running!! Thanks if you can advise 😊

Hope you continue to get better. I don't know if you've already used these but I used them and it helped. Good luck 😊

Take it slow and build up distance and gradient gradually. How’s your core fitness? Hope you keep further injury at bay. Happy running 🤗

This happens a lot fitting the early weeks. I took ibuprofen an hour before running and carried on. It goes in a week or two when your muscles strengthen. But that’s you’re choice.

I've had some patellar problems so searched for this on you tube and saw some good videos. Slower squats are good as are 'Spanish squats' and also standing with one foot on a stair while slowly lowering the other foot to the stair below then change foot you are standing on after 10 reps. Hope you get things sorted 😊
