It's been a while since I last posted, but I have still been running at least every other day and clicking up the miles ππΌββοΈ And when I've not been running, I've been as busy as a bee, down in the cellar π A couple of weeks ago I made a Picnic Table for the Sqirrels πΏοΈ and I'm delighted to say that they are loving it! π My new obsession is watching squirrels eating nuts π₯π€£
But today I finished my Bee Hotel ππ―β€οΈ All I have to do now is watch π
Hope you're all having a lovely weekend xxx

Thank you Dexy5 β€οΈ There are a lot of bees in my garden at the moment as the jasmine has just started to flower πΈ The weather has been perfect for sitting out and watching nature.
I'm sending you over a list of my outstanding D.IY jobs that need completing π€.
And the name a good therapist to help with that squirrel fascination π.
Glad you're allowed out of the cellar to run ππ
π I'm on with the next project already! But this is a joint effort with my husband π We're making an archway/canopy down the side of the house! This involves making the top bits out of 4 old beer barrel stillage stands! π³π»
I'm determined to get a half marathon distance run before the month is out too ππΌββοΈ
I think I'll need a therapist when I'm told I have to go back to work! π³
All's well in our little corner of Welsh Wales thanks Ali. Teenagers attending dining room school, youngest has her drum tutoring over the world wide web π€, it's a new routine but it's kinda working.
Mrs Wife doing her NHS and loving providing care etc.
And the baby blue-tits in the garden are possibly getting noisier day by day π.
Running is a life saver away from everyday lockdown life, long may we run ππ
Your wife is incredible β€οΈ I am in complete awe of all our NHS workers πand all of our key workers π
It must be pretty hard for the teenagers not being able to meet up with their friends. I know my son (21) is finding it a bit miserable. Home from uni and missing his uni friends and also not able to see his Sheffield friends either. But they do video chat regularly and do their weekly pub quiz together online π
I'm glad that most music teachers can continue their lessons online too! My husband is drummer, btw π₯
I think our new building may take some time so will have to post our progress in stages π
I'm so happy that I'm still able to get out for runs! I've got a family funeral tomorrow so no running, but I'm certain I'll be ready to do my half marathon on Tuesday ππΌββοΈ
I sometimes forget that we have /had a business to run before the lockdown π³ Running, the garden and being creative are the things that are keeping me sane ππΌββοΈπΈπ¨
ππΌπππΌ I knew the squirrels would like that table. ππ Are they red squirrels? And Iβm sure the bees will like their hotel. Good luck with the house project.
We are hanging in there, thank you AliHC. Missing the running but the garden is liking the attention. And Iβm on to my second Lockdown Patchwork quilt! π And Mr GS is feeling better, which is a big plus. Hope you are still playing while the drummer drums. πΆπ΅πΆ
Yes! π A joint project with my husband. We're making an archway for down the side of the house from old wooden beer stillages π Beer stillage are what large beer barrels rest one when they're laid down. We thought we had 4, but can only find 3...so we may have to make one! π€£This project may take some time! So I might make a little bird house or do some stained glass work or a mosaic to fill in the gaps?

That's sounds interesting, let us see it if you do it please.
I was doing a lot of DIY when I joined that's why I chose the name. In saying that I do like a project, I made a raised flower bed out of an old fence recently which was fun.
Weather is changing now though so it will be harder to do things now.
