So after much internet research into shin splints I decided to run without my dog today, and concentrate on my feet. Back to old C25K advice, thinking about kissing the ground with the balls of my feet. I managed 3k without any real pain so that’s a start!
Then I got home and it all went a bit weird. Garmin gave me a badge for running on Halloween (it even says today’s date so that’s not what’s wrong there!) and Strava says that I ran with Craig.... anyone know who Craig is?! I definitely didn’t run with anyone!! But my daughter has made cake so everything is fine!

🤣🤣🤣that's the weirdest thing I've ever known to happen with someone with a garmin. I know it sounds stupid but try turning the watch off and on again and hopefully it will know what month it is
Cake cures (almost) everything. Well done, Daughter. 👏🏼On the Garmin issue: mine has done weird things lately - arbitrarily changed the date, deleted a walk, put previous day’s step total onto next day. 🤔😱 Before I send it back, I am trying “locking” it except when I am telling it something. So far it is ok but only 3 days, so not conclusive as a cure. I hope some other, more techie person, will respond to your post!
