As you can tell , I m still not convinced about this running lark πŸ˜‚. I keep waiting for the β€œ bug β€œ to bite me .......πŸ₯΄. Been waiting since 1 st jan πŸ₯΅

Yaay! Fantastic! πŸ˜„πŸ˜„

That’s my goal eventually when my PF is sorted.

Wahoooooooooooo!

What a great feeling and moment. Very well done. It's at time like this when you look back and see how far you've come. Did the pace feel comfortable?

Comfortnotspeed profile image
ComfortnotspeedGraduate10 in reply to

Thank you. Yes I found a comfortable pace, just over 7 per K. now for longer runs. My mind wanders which is a luxury. I was tired at the end and have a nemesis hill, but even that is ok because it’s a goal. I’m happy because I’m enjoying the longer runs... something I didn’t expect. 😊

in reply to Comfortnotspeed

Fantastic! That's a good pace for longer runs too. Comfy is the way forward.

Well done on your 60-minute run, I think you can tell the administrators, you then will see the words "60-minute graduate" next to your username.

Wow. An hour!! That's fantastic. I did C2 5k last Sept - Nov . I've continued to run since then and joined a group for some training. Since the Lockdown I've had more time so I have been running 3 times a week but I seem to be stuck at 5.5 k which is the furthest I can manage. / or 40mins.

Maybe by the time I've been running for 12 months or more I will feel able to tackle bridge to 10k.

Funny how we are never satisfied, I am running faster pace than when I started obviously. I couldn't even run for 2 mins..

Love reading everyone's inspiring stories.
