Happy Christmas everyone!

The title says it all... wherever you are, however you’re doing on this journey of ours, I hope you have a happy and peaceful Christmas.

My Christmas Eve got a boost earlier when I so very nearly hit 5k in 30 minutes, I was just 12 seconds over. Not sure I’ll get a Christmas Day run in, had to get it in early!!

Thanks Cheeky I know, although I was annoyed I didn’t find the extra 2 and a bit seconds per k, I was really pleased to have got so close, and I know I must have it in me!!

Thanks re. The 5k... frustratingly close! I need a route without gates in the way, I had a couple to negotiate which cost me precious seconds!! Weird thing is that no aches today which I normally would get after a tempo run. I guess I must be getting fitter!

Ah, that's nice though Neil. How old are your girls?

Different for us this year mum isn't well, has dementia age 72, good mental health, but health has deteriorated, so we didn't think she would manage the stairs, as we don't have a downstairs toilet, so I hurriedly cooked it all earlier and we came down with it and dessert and her pressies. Still here now, but it's nice to sit with her and not do anything, these are precious moments Neil. Sorry, didn't intend to rattle on there haha 😂

Hope your day has been lovely spending it with your parents and daughter, these are precious moments. Hope you have an equally lovely day tomorrow when you see your other daughter. Merry Christmas 😊
