After a few minor setbacks in recent weeks I set off this morning running on this lovely morning. Set off earlier as there are a lot more people out now!
Trying to keep the pace up and not let my mind wander Strava kept coming in at every kilometer and I was feeling quite good about it all. I came off the canal at 9 k knowing that 10k was in sight. I ran a strong 8.35 for the final k. 8 months ago on that same stretch I could only just run 2.5 mins. What a fabulous programme this is for all your health and wellbeing. The great news to us my daughter has now started couch to 5k - I couldn’t be happier

It is getting busier out there, I drove round to the supermarket at 8 am this morning and there were many runners and more joining the main road from the side streets. Quite a sight. Incredible in a good way!
