No outdoor runs for a little while.

Did my last outdoor run on Sunday the 22nd as a bit of a virtual run for the 10 mile race that was postponed till September. Really good run even though it took a little while to get my backside out the door managed to do 10 mile in 1 hr and 36 mins. The lockdown means the dogs need priority for the once a day outdoor exercise and I’m also still going out to work also I work in a warehouse for a large supermarket chain really busy at the minute with panic buyers . Still running on the treadmill but I’m going to have to drop down the mileage as I don’t think I have it in me to do more that 5 k on a treadmill. No workout pic today as I thought I would share a pic of my dogs instead. I hope everyone is as well as can be expected and not been massively effected with what’s going on at the moment . Happy running everyone.

Well done, great time too. I’ve made the same decision here for the same reason... I managed to sneak a little run in today at the end of their normal walk as my daughter took them for a little bit of extra... rolls reverse tomorrow. We are going to do this once a week, hopefully. Sounds like work alone will be keeping you pretty fit right now... agree with your feeling re the treadmill, it took me a long time to get past the 5 minute barrier on one 🤣

Happy running.

I hope you had a good run today and hopefully some sort of light at the end of the tunnel soon

I did 8 km on a treadmill once, and only once. I feel your pain. Your lovely dogs look like they love eachother very much :-). Enjoy your walks with them.

Thanks . They have been together since a few months old and there both 12 this year and they are inseparable. I don’t know if I could manage 8k on treadmill well done on that one

Thanks Buddy. They always put a smile on my face so thought it might be nice to share while the world is going through this horrible time.

Well done for everything you are doing to get food into the supermarkets. It must be fairly frantic for you. Our supermarket was better today, maybe the stockpilers have run out of space to hoard anymore.

The dogs look like they do need lots of exercise, so just do what you can when you can . I think 5 k would be long enough for me on a treadmill too.

I’m behind the scenes so don’t see all the chaos what’s going on

Those guys look as though they need lots of exercise Maz so you’re doing the right thing in giving them your running slots! Thank you for working so hard to keep the supermarkets stocked up - there are a few idiots around but be assured the vast majority of us really appreciate what you and your colleagues are doing!

Thanks ogr. It’s pretty quiet near me no kids out playing and not much in the way of people on the street so I think more people how beginning to believe how serious this is now.
