A strange thing to say perhaps. Out this morning just after 6 am for a 10K run. Beautiful sunny, crisp morning, watching the sun making its way up the sky.
First km was quite slow as my knees felt like eggshells - even though I prefaced my run with a brisk warm up walk - so was super careful until they had warmed up. Maybe some stretching or strength and flex on non-running days would help, but in truth, I expect my legs to take some time to adapt to running 10K 3 times a week, and to get stronger over time. So I don't mind the grumbly knees.
Getting out that at time makes social distancing pretty easy, but next week it will be pre-dawn!
