At parkrun time on Saturday , Alexander Vassos held the Great Big Parkrun Quiz. It was interactive at the time, but we found it a few hours later. If you are missing being part of the parkrun family, I think they intend to do something each weekend to bring everyone together, and maybe encourage people not to do their parkrun route at 9.00 on a Saturday morning.

The YouTube link is here but the picture round only worked live. It doesn’t stop you guessing the answers though, which you’ve got to for much of the quiz anyway, unless you are a total parkrun geek. Only 7 out of 15 for us, but a good laugh all the same.

I saw that, but it was mainly the Asian and Pacific version, he said there was a European version as well, but as it wasn't live, I did not find it, keep smiling and safe.

I got 7 too and it was completely guesswork apart from 1 question!! It was fun with over 2700 participants. That was Europe and South Africa and there was a later one for USA and Canada with I’m told only 150 took part. It felt very familiar with lots of ‘thanks marshals’ and complaints that the RD went on too long! Great news though - over 2700 PBS. 😆

I’m gutted because I missed Vassos Alexander when he came to run at Eastville a few weeks ago - I was running Severn Bridge that weekend. Boo!

Yes thanks, all good here Dexy. 👍 We have a houseful again, so it’s lucky we didn’t sell up last year like we thought we might! It’s nice because everyone gets on and there are no fights like there were 10 or so years ago when we had 3 teenagers. And of course we have the little baby now too! 💙

Is your prom quiet enough to walk and run safely? I’m using the common which is nice because I can take Flossie. She’s a happy little dog at the moment. 🐾🐕❤️

Our prom was too busy at the weekend, but there was more space on the beach itself. The shopping areas were ridiculously busy, as if nothing had changed . Last night’s extra measures were definitely needed for some people.

I hope your common is not effected by Bristol’s closure of parks.

At least you know everyone is safe if you are all together. And they will probably help you more than when they were teenagers. 😂😂

I got 8. If you go to parkrun.me/quiz it opens up a form which includes the picture round questions. For a Coddfish bonus point, which parkrun is the one where you have to count the parkrunners? I think it is Osterley.

My first thought on the Coddfish bonus point was Poole Park but looking again I think you are right - the runners go round the pond at Poole. I was meant to be doing parkrun at Osterley this weekend ☹️😩
