OK, it was Sunday not Saturday, and on a dreadmill not the road, but I’m still going to claim a sub-30 parkrun distance at an altitude of 9600 feet here in Colorado⛷
The machine works in mph but displays a dot moving round a 400m track🥺, which made checking pace a bit less straightforward than usual, as my running brain works strictly in metric, but just over 6 mph did the job without my lungs collapsing 😤
The view from the machine wasn’t bad, either 😀
So, if this counts as high-altitude training, look out Southsea next weekend - or is once not enough for the Farah effect to kick in? 🤫 mom

A view like that would be about the only thing which would tempt me to run on a dreadmill.....that and the prolonged absence of an alternative. Whether it is 👊 or ✊️ (What does that one mean?) great effort UTS.
