Aliens, Parkrun Leaps and Garden Elves

Did another run today for Team HU in gorgeous sunshine, 8km chalked up, hope those of you running today get some rays too you all deserve some. Not in the habit of taking photos of my nether regions, but I was trying to show my new shoes (bunion buddies 🤞) and somehow mistakenly did a selfie of the above mentioned parts and noticed my little garden elf was in the shot its a bit hard to see in the photo but he’s giving the thumbs up so go Team HU. Managed lift off at the Parkrun Leap last week, phew! and an almost dignified landing too and another PB but now back to running and taking in the sights and sounds again for a bit. Today I took a slightly different route and saw this little painted sub station, so lovely. Its making running even more enjoyable, if thats possible, spotting these little works of art. Enjoy your runs today everyone and hang in there those on the IC, thinking of you all. Off to do my stretches now and get some zzz’s 😎 x

Congratulations to you lexi6 on running 8k for the Healthunlocked VRWC team, I have just looked at the list, you at 10.30am GMT on Saturday were at No. 6.

I have just come back from running 6K I am at No. 16 after that run, of course those positions will change during the day, I wasn't at parkrun today.

These are nice photos you have taken, Flick really did start a trend regarding running gear for ladies.

Thanks Alan, daughter has just left here, so I haven’t had chance to look at our team results yet, well done on your 6k too. I didn’t do parkrun either yesterday because I wanted to put some more ks on our tally. The leggings are fun to wear but “wait there’s more” 🙂

The parkrun race director asked if we would leap, so thought I’d have a go. Rounded a corner the sign said “jump here”, so I did. Not sure about the sound effects I made though. 😂

Was about a kilometre from the finish chute, looked at some of the other runners’ leaps and they were spectacular. Any further and I couldn’t have raised a smile never mind a lift 😂
