Wasn't going to parkrun today as I ran yesterday but then thought when's the next time I'm going to get to to a parkrun on a leap year.
There was lots of mud and puddles even more than last time and I ran through them all.
Home now for shower then out with the dog.

Well done Buddy. I tried and failed to complete park run this morning ☹️ The winds were too high on the seafront and I couldn’t breath in the headwind. So I drove home and did 5k instead. Never mind 🤷🏻♀️ Good for you though 👍🏼
Definitely no fail Rhedeg2019. Trying to run along a seafront with all these named storms would make anyone stop. Glad you still did a run though 😊

Very muddy parkrun today, congratulations on that time, I was at Dunfermline parkrun, my time 33.38,
3 minutes slower than you at Drumpelliier, my shoes are not just as muddy as yours, it's not so muddy at Dunfermline, however, there are a lot of puddles which I jump over, enjoy the rest of the weekend.
PS next time that a Saturday falls on a Leap Year is 2048
I really enjoy the mud and puddles . No point in trying to avoid them don't want to jump over and injure myself.

PS, I just noticed that Douglas Mason ran his 298th parkrun at Drumpelliier today, now he is the man that videoed ALL the parkruns in Scotland for YouTube, another two runs for him will be No. 300, I just wonder which parkrun he will run it at.

I have come across a very interesting YouTube parkrun video from Douglas, it's entitled
"Parkrun Eurotrip 2019 Poland Sweden Denmark" (51.33 )
he takes part in 3 parkruns in those 3 countries, the Polish Park looks a little like Drumpelliier with all the trees, excellent YouTube video, if you have time, watch it.

Yes, that's what I heard - I will be in my mid 70s by then. I really hope that I will still be around and running for the next one but like sTrongFuse, I thought I'd better go today and get it ticked off the list!
2048 is the next one. Assuming I get there, given what I put my legs through in my younger days playing rugby, if I'm even able to crawl round that one it'll be something of a miracle.

Yes even as a child I didn't like getting dirty then that continued into me being an adult. But this running, the mudier the better🤣
