So my last run was last monday then I had I think the worst cold ever, for me anyway . Felt a bit better yesterday and today I thought I'd try a run. It went okay I had to walk a few times but that's fine.
The weather helped also as apart from some wind it was sunny, only started raining in the last 5 minutes.
Today is my birthday so a great start to my day.

We’ve got off lightly with both storms. 5deg but wind chill to zero. Yesterday lashing rain. But being a walker and runner puts weather in perspective. When you just get out there it’s not as bad as sitting indoors thinking about it.

I'm recovering from terrible cold too and haven't run for 9days I was so weak I couldn't even do yoga😪 Hoping to go for a gentle run later today. Thanks for writing about walking intervals - I need to keep in mind yo be really gentle with myself at the start.

Yes, I did it and it wasn't too bad. I definitely felt weaker but still so much better than if I had attempted same few days earlier. It's a bad virus. Both my girls had this too and both were in bed for a week watching Netflix, no energy and for a 4 and 6y it'squite unusual. They were both quite happy about Netflix though😂🤭

This morning as part of Ju Ju's Magic 10 I ran the short version of run 3 of week 3 around part of Linlithgow Loch, the exact same route as I ran, run 3 of week 5 of C25K in May 2018, however with so much rain the water submerged some of the route, the only living creatures that were on that part were ducks.
