As I lay in bed listening to the shipping forecast, Sensible Fairy and Lazy Fairy joined in chorus to tell me to stay in bed.
However, Lunatic Fairy and Personal Competitive Fairy persuaded me that I could squeeze in a Parkrun before Dennis hit the North Cornish coast.
They were almost right but I did return home looking like drowned rat. Still, 24th Parkrun ticked off. 😁🌧🌧

Well done for getting out especially as the storm would have hit Cornwall before it hit most of us. Which parkrun do you do? I did Penrose once (realise it’s not on the north coast). Had a choice between it and Heartlands based on where I was staying. Had a look at Heartlands during the week I was there, might do it next time I am down there.

Sleepy fairy won in my case, and then knowing it was too late to run, I went down to cheer the runners on the return leg. Hungry fairy then got breakfast. Fortunately, it rained after getting home.
😂 Judging by the number of runners I could barely make out through the rain and spray as we drove cautiously by, the "Mad as a box of frogs" fairies were having a rare old time this weekend. Hats off to you HF, and all the other very wet runners 😊🐸
