The husband, honestly! He makes me giggle.

After buying me a preloved Garmin 230 three weeks ago - literally - in the belief it was a 235, he came home last night with an actual 235 ๐Ÿฅฐ in aqua! So very me, that it even matched my jumper last night ๐Ÿ˜€ And because it has a different style of strap it feels much lighter on my wrist.

Heโ€™s disappeared off up the M25 to go to a job interview this morning, so I am sitting here setting them both up so he can wear the 230 as a watch. He doesnโ€™t even run! I will find the Walk App though and show him how to install it, and maybe set up a step challenge for the 2 of us, as that might motivate him to get out of the truck for a few more walks (at least until the novelty wears off).

In other news, my ankle is feeling much better with only a very small amount of swelling still remaining, so long dog walks are taking place, along with some very basic physio - standing on one leg etc. and I picked up a balance cushion the other day that Iโ€™m keeping in the kitchen so I can use it several times a day, while waiting for the kettle to boil. The kitchen is also where Iโ€™m keeping a kettlebell for the same reason.

Iโ€™ve arranged to go out with my friend D for a short and gentle run next Tuesday morning, and after that Iโ€™ll see how it goes.

There is an inaugural Canicross race locally on 1st March that I am determined to go to even if I have to walk it, so Iโ€™m definitely going to take things easy.

How lovely! So romantic ๐Ÿ˜ Mr IP bought me my Garmin years ago for Valentines Day and I still love it! I hope you have many happy miles with yours ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ™‚

Glad to hear the ankle is improving. Iโ€™m sure your physio has told you this but with any ankle injuries itโ€™s really important to stretch the calves regularly as they tighten up with ankle issues.

Fingers crossed for your run next week ๐Ÿคž

Glad your ankle is feeling better. Good for you taking it easy, and I hope your run next week goes well. ๐Ÿคž

Lovely, and great that your ankle is improving.

That's the same as the one I had before I had to return it.

You look like you are wearing a lovely Garmin.

I looked like a Garmin was wearing my arm๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜ช

Good to hear your ankle is healing, itโ€™s taken a while

What a great garmin, and you know the novelty might not wear off for your husband, Colin barely moved before i got him a cheap fitbit type wristband and now he moves around a lot more every day just to get his steps up

Oh what a lovely husband you have Maddee...I've recently bought myself the 235 and agree it's very light and comfortable to wear.

Hope your ankle continues to improve ready for your race in a few weeks ๐Ÿ‘
