Back after 2yrs off the forum, I've still been running but found another reason to rejoin the community. I lost my wife for 33yrs to Pancreatic Cancer recently and now need to find myself again and clear my mind with like minded people. Good to be back, lots of running love Phil xx

Sorry to hear about your wife, Phil. Having lost a close relative to pancreatic cancer, I can imagine it’s been a brutal time for you and your family. I hope running, and this running family, can help bring some relief for you. Welcome back.

Welcome back Guesty26, I am so sorry for your loss. I hope the running has helped you get through such difficult times. I think you were a c25k graduate around the same time as me (May 18) - doesn’t time fly? I think there will be a few names you remember popping up in response.

Hello again Guesty,

I am so very sorry to read of your loss. I can not begin to imagine how hard things must have been.

If I remember rightly just before you were due to graduate from C25K we were encouraging one another. Not long after that you left me for dust! Welcome back! I wonder what running plans are forming in your mind?

I do remember you sweetheart hope your well. I was lucky to have retired early and me n the wife did a lot of travelling thankfully before the illness, then its just been a terrible 8 months. Now shes in a better pain free world and I've just got to get back in the loop, clear the mind, set new goals and plan the future. Kids have been with me last two months from NZ but go back thurs so going to be a but weird after that. But I’m a yorkshire man so will just get on with it!!
