Traffic jam, Lego and scuba divers

I had no real plan for today’s run and just wanted to avoid too much mud. My route was decided when I saw the traffic trying to get out of town (it was after 9.30 but part of the nearby motorway was shut). I decided to play ‘beat the traffic jam’! A daily occurrence for some I’m sure but not so much in the provinces. Anyway, I didn’t get out of town before them but it was close and I think I was faster than them for at least 1k!! It felt better than it looks once I see it written down tbf but #minisuccesses. I was also listening to my favourite podcast - no such thing as a fish. Today I learned that it’s easier to walk on fire, walk on glass, juggle barbed wire and get dollar bills stapled to your chest than walk on Lego. If anyone needs more riveting facts I was listening to podcast no. 273 “no such thing as a scuba diver covered in meat” Got you interested now huh?! 😆 Lego was in the final fact section. Enjoy.

Blimey, that would take your mind off the running thing 😫 Don’t think I’ll be testing the logo fact any time soon.

I knew it was painful but . . . ! Really recommend that podcast if you want to run with a silly grin on your face. It can be rude and sweary if that will bother you. 😆
