I ran on Monday and had scheduled, as one does, Thursday to be my next running day but today I just felt the need mentally to run. Not too sure why? I reasoned with myself for several hours. Explaining to myself why tomorrow was run day and not today! Legs need 2 days of rest etc. I also reckoned that my coffee and cake 🍰 date tomorrow with buddies may reduce running opportunity. Eventually I gave in and went for a run. Clearly I’m not very persuasive! (25 mins, wk6r3, as I’m repeating c25k) And it was good, one of those in the groove runs. Yay! No major tweaks from legs whilst running either which was a bonus. Applied ice on return for good measure though, as right shin decided at the end of running to have a bit of a grumble. Last time left leg groaned, just can’t please them both it seems! So chuffed with a smooth run and how fitness is returning more and more with each run.

Congratulations on rerunning run 3 of week 6, by sheer coincidence I reran that run with Laura as my coach, no, I am not rerunning C25K, but just for old times sake, that's the run I ran today, I love at the end when Laura said "you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER "

Absolutely! Laura is my run buddy also and those words about being a runner are pretty special.
