After visiting the physio yesterday & not progressing very far despite the hard work he suggested getting back to running, he reckons the momentum of my arm swinging whilst running will hopefully loosen it up.
So looking forward to getting out there again, question is - where do I start? I last ran in September, I’ve put weight on & am out of condition not to mention my lack of confidence.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated 👣👣👣

My own running journey has been very brief, as I began C25K at the end of August, so I cannot speak from much experience.
I did spend 3 weeks on the IC after an injury in mid November, which has made me pretty cautious. Since then I try to run well within myself, and resist the temptation to arrive at my goals as quickly as possible.
If it were me, after 3 months off, I would do C25K over again, maybe speeding up the progression if I felt comfortable doing so.
Best of luck with your continued recovery. I would say just get out there and take it steady, based upon my own (very limited) experience.
I agree with Forbidden Planet. Start from scratch, but do a bit of skipping runs if you find you are doing fine.
The good think about starting from scratch, is that it's a good structured way of getting back into it.
In the past when I've not run for a while, I tried to do my own thing, but just found myself wandering all over the joint in terms of progression, so it was better just to re-do C25K.
Think of the confidence boost of smashing c25k for a second time with the full knowledge that you will get there and it was injury nothing else which caused you to stop. Good luck and happy running
You could possibly try a W1 run, if it goes well move on a week, etc etc until you find your level. My guess is you will do a run from each of W1, 2 and 3, then fully do W4.
