So saw a different physio this time. He said it was my pelvis that was misaligned and pulling my knees out of place but my knees are fine or would be if not for pelvis.
He released a couple of muscles (if you haven’t had this done it is incredibly painful, tear to eye and gritted teeth kind of pain) and now my right leg, this was the worst one, feels ten years younger and the left is jealous.
I was thinking I should beg him to do the left leg too but instead he showed me how to do it with a tennis ball and for the other muscle my elbow.
I have a new exercise plan to do and apparently I need to hurt myself every four days too and I’m not allowed to cycle or do anything that will cause further strain damage. Hmmm. Then I go back 14th December. To find out if I’m ok to run yet.
I’m planning on asking for running gear for Christmas to go with the new trainers I have waiting for me already, to help with remotivation on my journey as I will need to start C25k again when I finally get signed off as ok.
Happy running, run a few paces for me too.

Certainly I will run a few paces for you HN, perhaps I could even run a 5k, maybe not, sorry about all your injuries and having to go to different physios, just hope that you recover as soon as possible, however, as you say, as you will have been off running for so long when you resume it will be back to week 1 of C25K🤔
You’ll be back stronger than ever when you get to lace up again... and you know you can do it. I have some 400m sprints on Monday, I’ll think of you and put everything I’ve got into the last one.
Well... my phone is predicting snow for Wednesday which may end my week... so I shuffled my plan around as if I miss the speed work it’s not as bad as missing my endurance work... so 400m sprints were off the menu. I had a 2.75 mile recovery run to do, so I did that and then went on to 3.75 to do a run for you too. If the snow doesn’t come you can have a 400m sprint later in the week. Hope you’re well today.
Everything crossed for you HN, it does sound like your physio knows his stuff, so go with the advice and look forward to wearing all that lovely Xmas loot! Good luck!
Oh wow HN that sounded mighty painful. Really hope you’ll be given the all clear next time. You should absolutely get running gear for Christmas- you deserve it after your setback. Keep up the exercises! 🎾 😀
I’ll happily run some extra paces for you! I usually misjudge my finish and need to run back to my car to get my jacket and have a drink, so those paces will be for you next time I’m out! 😀🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
It’ll be Tuesday, or possibly tomorrow if my legs feel willing (having run parkrun in a onesie yesterday!) I’ll be sure to send them your way 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
I’m a certain age and ‘feel the heat’ a lot too! It’s why I get strange looks running in virtually nothing compared to those who dress for the Arctic! 😅😅
Hello, sorry you're having to sit on the IC. I hope you get sorted out soon. It does seem difficult to get to the bottom of a problem if it doesn't heal up by itself. I hope you are back up and running soon.
I can highly recommend getting hold of a cello to amuse you while you have to sit on the couch 😀🎶
It sounds like you are getting great advice and treatment from your physio HappyNoodle. You are so going to love your first run back. I will happily do some of my intervals for you tomorrow.
Thanks I get to see the same one again next month so hopefully more good advice. Made me think about going for a sports massage and I hate massage. Only a think though 😉 I shall enjoy your intervals 😄
