14th parkrun, a PB, and daughter ran too

I graduated from C25K back in July, finishing with my first parkrun (at Southwark - still my home parkrun). I had an injury interruption, but returned to running in October, and am now steadily knocking out PBs, aided by some fast local courses. Yesterday, at Victoria Dock, I edged under 24 minutes (just - 23:59) but, best of all, my 22yo daughter came along too (she'd started in C25K in late 2019 but stopped after only doing about half of the runs). Any way, she part-ran, part-walked her first parkrun and finished in what I think is a highly respectable 30:26 (said she felt sick, later discovering a bleeding toe - needs new shoes if she is to continue running). Forget my PB - I was more chuffed about her finishing her first parkrun.... Now just need to get wife and son to join in now....

Congratulations to you and your daughter on getting PB's at parkrun, that time of 30.25 for your daughter is very good considering that she part ran/walked it and for you to get a sub 24 minutes time is excellent, I also have ran 14 Parkruns, my PB is 30.55, so a sub 30 minute 5k is a dream for me.
