Running every day? Happy New Year 🎈🎊

i know, the rules say not to run everyday but I’ve been running now for almost 3 years, I won’t be knocking out 5 or 10ks everyday, just small ones but it’s a challenge i thought i’d give a go xx

I look forward to seeing how you go, you’ve got me thinking hmm i couldn’t fit in a run every day but may increase some short runs on rest days and see what happens, Ive signed up for the 30 day yoga challenge

Happy New Year Bev!

I'm going to try to be active every day and run at least every other day in January. Hoping to run 1000k across the year and possibly a 30 minute 5k??

That sounds like a plan Deb...I’ve been doing a plan on garmin to improve my 10k time but i think i’m going to change it to improve my 5k time and hopefully hit the 30 min mark too...we can do this!!! 💪🏻💪🏻🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️ xx

I love your inspirational quote, so very true and something I try to live by...! Happy New Year MC and good luck with RED Jan. A brilliant thing to do.

I haven't managed to get out again since - but tomorrow is definitely the day (unless it isn't!! :) ). However, I will not give up! Will keep trying to get back to regular runs.

Wishing you and yours a fab 2020 xxx

Happy New year to you Mummycav, there was someone on earlier calling January Runuary, that will certainly apply to you on running every day, are you going to run a 5K every day?

Mummycav profile image
MummycavAdministratorGraduate10 in reply toAlMorr

Hi AlMorr , so far I’ve run 3k every day, I want to do a 5k once a week and throw a couple of 10ks in there too but i’ll see how it goes...still suffering the effects of christmas so i think it will be easier from Monday when everything goes back to normal

Same here, a great idea, whether you suffer from mental health issues personally, or like me just want to show support for others. The improvement in mental resilience that has come from running has been the least expected benefit but a very welcome one.

That’s true for me too Berksrover , i don’t consider myself to have mental health issues but running has helped me figure things out in my head and given me space that i wouldn’t have had otherwise. RED January is an excellent idea x

Thanks Buddy34 ...only on day 4 and i feel ok so far...I plan to run 3k a day with one 5k a week and, if i feel up to it, I’ll throw a couple of 10ks in there somewhere 🤞🏻
