Just a short update for my friends. The reports of my demise are greatly exaggerated. I thought the image might raise a laugh, I couldn't find any running tips that you haven't seen already.
I am having fun, and still running 2 or 3 times a week, usually with Keswick Parkrun as the climax. Still about 30 minutes for the 5Km, not especially concerned with going any faster or further right now. I'm working on enjoying the whole experience.
I'm reading 'The Big Book of Endurance Training and Racing' by Dr Phil Maffetone (amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07... and learning a lot about developing endurance. I'm reading other stuff too, but I won't bore you with the Theology.
