Well at the start of year I couldn’t run for 60 seconds I can now run for over 60 minutes and did my first 10K on Christmas Eve. Thank you everyone for your support, whilst I didn’t post I did read people comments especially when I was finding it really hard. I have signed up for my first half marathon next year as a personal challenge and to stay committed. Thank you everyone for keeping me motivated and keeping it real!!
Happy New Year xx

Congratulations and well done that’s a real achievement. 🥳👋👋 Good luck with your half marathon training.
A fantastic year for you Snailspace03, from not running for a more than a minute in January to running a 10K on Christmas Eve is an amazing achievement for you.

I am not speedy either - might try and do a 10K first just to know what to expect with other people around! Doing the Birmingham half in October so time to train and improve technique- need to lengthen my stride I think to improve time! Just amazed that I have actually found something I have stuck to 3 times a week for a year and enjoy! Good luck with your training - we have got this!
Yeah same feeling and same thoughts I tried Japanese method small steps to avoid injury and let me know how 10 k goes good luck it’s fab isn’t it to now how far we have come from non running
