Wednesday I ran 8.3km around Windsor Park, my first long run for quite a while, and close to my longest.
Saturday I ran my 20th parkrun at my 20th venue. This qualifies me officially as a parkrun 'tourist'.
As if I needed more inspiration, my run was at the same venue as a gentleman called Chris Cowell, who was completing his 500th parkrun! Wow!
More significant still is that Chris Cowell was the first person in the world to run at 100 different parkruns. He is a parkrun legend, and the 'Cowell Club' of parkrun tourists is named after him. It was an honour to run with him.
The plan is to do another long run tomorrow, unless we get any more floods or tornados, and perhaps a parkrun on Christmas Day morning (yes, they do special extra ones on Christmas Day and New Years Day).
