Whoohoo - 10K complete!

I’ve been down with the flu and then a chest infection. No running, no yoga, no Christmas’s parties.

This morning, I woke at the crack of dawn and ran for 10.83k. I ran one circuit several times.

There was a van running it’s engine. The first time I ran past I was annoyed. The second time, I looked inside and noticed there was someone who was asleep. The third time I ran past I wondered whether he’d passed out. The fourth time I ran past I took a picture thinking I would perhaps call the police in case he was dead. I knocked on the window and he woke up. I asked if he was ok and gave him a thumbs up signal. He may have thought I was security since I was wearing my bright yellow running jacket. He looked ok so I ran on.

I then went to my hot yoga class. That was definitely a good decision.

After so much inactivity I feel like a million dollars! Hello, endorphins.

Massive congratulations on your 10k especially after illness. Poor man sleeping in his van, I hope he was tired and not homeless.
