More running, better skin!

A colleague has been suffering from an unknown skin condition for decades, which causes dark patches to appear and disappear all over the body at random. She's recently finally had success in getting rid of it after a dermatologist prescribed her some anti-fungal cream and told her to sweat it out within 30mins of application.

Around the same time she told me about this, my husband pointed out that my skin is looking really good (Mr Achey doesn't normally notice stuff like this) I also noticed that despite the wintry conditions, my skin is actually glowing. Could this be a side effect of he JuJu's Magic Plan where I had been running harder and sweating out quite a bit more!? 😚

If she needs to sweat, perhaps you should recommend C25K to your colleague as well!

I tried. But maybe I come across as too evangelical, so not converted, yet ;)

Definitely the running. I'm noticing my hair is in great condition, even hairdresser grudgingly agreed I wouldn't be needing to buy "products" 😉

Did some googling on the relationship between sweating and exercising and learned some interesting science behind it. Many people believe that sweating would flush out toxins and thus "detoxify" the skin. But really, it's the liver that does most of that. What exercising does is it actually reverses various ageing process on a cellular level. It's really fascinating stuff. I'm now looking forward to seeing an improvement on my hair! lol
