The boss asked me yesterday if i could start at 7 again this morning and i thought to myself woo hoo I will get home in daylight
So at 3pm off we went, it was hard and not fast i forgot my scarf and gloves but we did a steady 4k and as the sky started to glow as the sun set we decided to have a look on the beach
The photo really doesn’t do it justice so we walked a bit and ran around a bit then came home

Thanks GTB, oh me too i don’t think we’d have run in the dark, ive found if i plan it then Willow gets used to the idea and is ready and waiting so even if i can’t be bothered we still go and i feel great after
Well done willowandsola I’m not a fan of dark running much prefer the light. Glad you both got to enjoy it a little. Your pic is lovely 😊 even if you did have cold hands.
Another successful run in the bag. Well done! You really look like you have a gorgeous place to run. I grew up by the seaside but am now in the city so miss those lovely fresh sea views😀
South coast around 10 miles west of Brighton, i have another shot looking the other way and can just see the cliffs at Eastbourne, it’s a lovely place to be
Thought it looked familiar! I’m about four miles outside Eastbourne and tend to run mostly on the Cuckoo Trail. But my partner and I did a lot of training for the Beachy Head 10k on the downs/seafront. It’s a beautiful part of the country. I often feel so lucky to live here x
We feel lucky every day we can get to the beach in five minutes and the same for the downs, it’s early days running for us but i fancy the Beachy Head 10k next year I just haven’t told Willow yet
Oh lovely...don't love an early start at work but it's defo worth it for the weekday daylight run, they are rare and to be treasured! Glad you guys enjoyed it 🏃♀️🏃♂️😁
