Well, running folk, I've been on precisely 3 runs in the past 2 months. I started with nasty pain in the arch of my foot that just isn't going away. So I've been trying to rest, even though that doesn't seem to be helping.
So, obviously, the best thing to do this morning was to get up and run the Wilmslow Festive 10k, completely unprepared and on a dodgy foot.
But that's exactly what I did and...
...
...
...well, it was OK, actually. Not free of discomfort but nothing is any worse than when I started.
And I was only 90 seconds or so above my PB (came in just above 1:01).
So, perhaps, maybe, with the wind behind me... I'll be able to start running again!
Happy Sunday everyone.

I found out because I looked up the time for Sharuns then I thought "I wonder......." Sure enough I saw your name as well. Well done. You can come back for some parkrun mud now
Great result, well done, and you're looking super slim in that photo Pianism. Have you tried rolling your foot on a frozen bottle of water? Wear socks!
