I went out in Belfast this morning to do my 3k run of the week so I can finish off week 2 and for some reason I found it really tough going and a struggle to get to the end. It was cold and damp outside but I am thinking it was probably the fact that I ran before breakfast as I normally run on a night after eating around 3pm.
Hey ho, next run I will be back in Somerset and it will be Saturday night to tick off my 7km run and start week 3 which I am really looking forward to

I found my 3k run of the JuJu's Magic Plan really hard as well this week. I think the frosty weather out meant I either ran too fast or did not do enough warm up. It was hard to adjust one's effort levels on a shorter run like this!
I'm sure the weather had something to do with it. I compared my stats from a cold run on monday morning and "warm" run yesterday. For same speed and terrain there was a 20 beat increased HR in the cold! I wont be repeating cold runs, just not worth it.
