Just a 10k easy style today to try to get rid of the post Park Run stiffness. Legs still feel a bit tight now but there you are. The temperature was down at 4 degrees, but I wondered if I really needed to wear leggings. So I ventured forth with shorts only. It was ok until it came to walking home from my post run cafe stop. I felt the nip then. So maybe I do need them! Maybe I was unduly influenced last week by a neighbour yelling that he didn’t think my tights and shorts set up looked very alluring.. I told him that I was relieved!😳. Definitely begins to feel like the start of winter.
At least the hills are getting easier now. Great fun whizzing down them ....I hope everyone has a great week 😊

Photos please and then we’ll tell you how alluring you are. I haven’t worn shorts since September so it’s long legs for me every time now. I take a pair of track pants and fleece for straight after if I have somewhere to leave them because I do feel the cold then. We’ve left a bag with a cafe and done a there and back if it’s really cold.
Lovely photo and great effort. Definitely been winter in the north with snow on nearby mountains for about a month now. I think people who aren't runners should keep quiet about what we wear 😉
Oh I really don’t care GTB. He does ride a bike and has had health issues, so I wouldn’t hold not running against him. The (very minor) issue is that it is the sort of daft comment which could put off a more sensitive soul than me . 😊
Great news. I try not to look in mirror before going out then welcome all passers by with a cheery hello before they have a chance to make any comments.
That is my usual experience. Nearly everyone gives a cheery hello; the running experience around here is overwhelmingly positive. I just leave any sense of dignity at home 🤣
Always shorts for me - I did try leggings a couple of times last winter but wasn't keen. Mind you , it tends to be a bit warmer down here on the south coast.
