Shut happens!

Well after the high of a first 10k run on Sunday I was looking forward to a slow and shorter outing this morning. No grandchildren to look after 😃☹️ and cool but dry. Within the first 3 minutes I began to manage my expectations!! It was a very slow jog / walk kind of outing but I realised I’d been to blood donors (86 - easy, you should go!!) on Tuesday afternoon. So I accepted my fate but it reminded me of a sign I saw recently on a cafe door. One of the best I’ve seen. (Apologies for the poor photo). Happy running everyone even if it doesn’t go to plan.

I am not surprised you were tired, look after you and eat/ drink well. Hopefully your next run will be better :)
