Ran my first 10k in four months today ,and to be honest I didn,t really build up to it from my usual 5K runs either . This was to be a gentle easy pace jog ,perhaps an hour twenty sort of time ,I achieved a new personal best of 1:07:26 , taking 1 minute 18 seconds off my previous best effort !! Feel Im on a bit of a run at the moment ,I think this may be down to improving my sleeping habits recentley.Ran with a smile on my face today ,enjoying this purple patch where things are happening for me again!! Sure introducing interval training is also making a major contribution too.
