Bloody Sträva stopped recording halfway but I *think* I completed the 5k in about 45 minutes. People were so friendly and cheering me along the way and a runner stopped to talk to me and ran with me for the last stretch which was so kind of him.
Really proud of myself and will give it another go next Saturday.
I hope everyone is well!

I wasn't at a parkrun today, next week I will be when my "home" Parkrun celebrates it's 100th run, but every time I finish a run, I look at my watch and guess what my time was, you say that you "think" it was 45 minutes, well I think that you probably ran it under 45 minutes, let us know later what your official time was.
No matter what the time was, congratulations on completing your first 5k Parkrun.
Congratulations, wonderful, great time, I don't usually get my official Parkrun time until around 12.30, that was quick, in fact, a few weeks ago I didn't get my official Parkrun time until 3PM, getting it before 11.30 is fast, once again congratulations on that time, who knows, your next parkrun time might be sub 40 minutes. 😊 🏃🏾
Parkrun is usually amazing, but your experience of your first is even better, what a great chap you met out there. Great job and hopefully it’s the first of many brilliant Saturday morning runs.
