I must say I’ve really enjoyed being part of this group and completing the 10k plan, I don’t feel scared of 10k anymore in fact I look forward to it....I never thought I’d hear myself say that! I guess I can say I’m officially a runner 😁🥳 I joined a running club today and have signed up for a 10 mile race which is happening on the 1st December...yikes!!!! Any advice on a plan for this would be appreciated! Thanks everyone and well done to all you 10k graduates 🙌🏃🏻‍♀️💪🏻

Congratulations on getting to the 10k... now for that other 10! December isn’t far away, you could keep extending the long run by 1 or 1.5 km a week to bring you very close to the 16.09 km in time.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking, I’m also doing strength training so that should also help!

Yes that’s really important to make sure muscles and tendons keep up with your progress. If you had time I would be advising you to consolidate your 10ks for a while, but I know others have achieved this.

Well done on completing Juju this week. I’ve graduated too from Juju this week and you are so right that I’m not afraid of it either, I don’t know why 10k seemed so daunting back then but with some Wonderful support on here we made it!
