Cobwebs blown away

Having graduated from C24K back end of last year. I continued with Bridge to 10K and successfully completed the programme. In August this year I I did the York 10k and completed in 1:35 minutes for a 67 year old was a fair result. But since then I had not done any running since then until yesterday when I did the Selby Parkrun. I really struggled on the last 2k with carried on without walking and completed in 45:14 which was my slowest Parkrun ever but it has given the motivation to get back on track and build up back to running back up to 10k and beyond since my target for next year is the Great North Run if my old bones will allow me to

To run 5k in 45 minutes after not doing any running for two months is pretty good in my book! Well done 👏
