After completing C25K comfortably and slowly but surely I was getting up to 10K. However, a bit of a setback in the last 3 weeks not wanting to run and being quite happy to sit on my back side. Cannot give any reason why! Today was the first run, I did just about 8K.

Well done for getting back out there! How did it feel?

Ok, don’t know why I lost my mojo for running lately.

I lost mine too. Been managing one run a week for the last 3 weeks and finding all kinds of (legitimate) reasons not to. Went out for a little 2 miler yesterday and it totally reignited the love. I think the seasons changing affects us a bit, the desire to stay cosied up rather than go for a run is strong!

8k after a while of not running is brilliant. Drag yourself out again on Tuesday!

I think you are right, it is a lot easier to make excuses when it is cold and wet and dark in the evenings. Perhaps this will the push I need.

They say it is 95% mental and the other 5% is in the head! How true!

Did you feel happy about getting out there today? That’s a nice long break, maybe it was the weather. I’ve had 2 weeks off for a holiday earlier in the year but I was dying to get back home and complete the C25k. I have another holiday coming up in November, it’ll be interesting how I feel this time round after 7 months of running 🏃‍♀️

Not sure ‘happy’ was the right word!
