Hi Runners

I’m checking in quickly and checking out. I decided to try W9R3 with my C25K coach MJ! Don’t ask me why 🤷🏽‍♀️. I just thought it might be fun to run with him again.

Well, no disrespect to MJ of course 😳, but it was tough to do that 30 minutes today. I thought I’d be feeling more ‘go’ with my old buddy, but that wasn’t the case. 🥴 I felt quite stiff across my upper back and shoulders.

I’m not going to labour it! It was a struggle, but I made it to the end. And to MJs credit 😍, my distance and pace was better too. I’m not sure we’ll be back on a date very soon though. 😁❤️

I ran with him a couple of times around my runniversary, and yes I agree, it was surprisingly “not as easy as I thought it would be!”

Still love him though - even watching the athletics on tv last week, I thought of him as my personal coach! 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️😅😅

Hi JaoJao 👋🏽 I’ve not stopped completely but I’ve been higgeldy piggedly with my running😳. Some months I’m out quite regularly and others hardly any. I’m a summer grad and I didn’t adjust too well to winter last year. So I’m going out every other day, no matter the weather or whether I feel like it. I’m getting myself back in the swing 🤞🏽❤️.

I’m a Sarah girl too. I loved her except when she said if I was struggling to remember she was right there with me. Even as I struggled I knew she’d be on the sofa with a cup of tea!!

I think the answer is, ‘and why not?!’ If Jo Whiley was as appealing as MJ I’d probably do W9R3 again but we parted amicably and I don’t want to go back there. If he’s getting you out there though he’s worth his weight. Keep going, you’re doing fab, Fab! 😍👏👏👏
